Question 1

How do I book a stay?

Accepted Answer

Choose your dates and guests on any listing, review the price breakdown, then continue to secure checkout. You'll get an instant confirmation email with your reference number.

Question 2

What payment methods can I use?

Accepted Answer

We accept the major cards and any payment gateway the host has enabled at checkout. Your details are processed securely by the payment provider — we never store your card number.

Question 3

Do I pay the full amount upfront?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the listing. Many stays take a deposit at booking with the balance due before check-in. You'll always see the split clearly before you pay.

Question 4

What time is check-in and check-out?

Accepted Answer

Standard check-in and check-out times are shown on each listing (commonly check-in from 3pm and check-out by 10am). Ask your host about early check-in or late check-out — many can accommodate it.

Question 5

How do I get access to the property?

Accepted Answer

Most hosts offer self check-in with a lockbox or smart lock and send directions and codes a day or two before arrival. If someone's meeting you, they'll arrange a time.

Question 6

Can I bring more guests than I booked for?

Accepted Answer

Please book for the actual number of guests — capacity affects pricing, city tax and the host's setup. Need to add someone? Message your host before arrival to update the booking.

Question 7

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Each listing sets one of three tiers: Flexible (full refund up to 24 hours before check-in), Moderate (full up to 5 days before, then 50%) or Strict (50% up to 7 days before, then none). The tier is shown on every listing.

Question 8

How do I cancel a booking?

Accepted Answer

Open the booking in your account under Bookings and choose Cancel. You'll see exactly how much you'll be refunded under the listing's policy before you confirm.

Question 9

When will I receive my refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the cancellation is confirmed and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Question 10

What if the host cancels my stay?

Accepted Answer

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, you're refunded in full automatically and notified right away so you can rebook.

Question 11

How do I list my property?

Accepted Answer

Create a host account, then add your place with photos, amenities, house rules, pricing and a cancellation tier. Once it's approved it goes live and starts taking bookings.

Question 12

How and when do I get paid as a host?

Accepted Answer

Your earnings for each confirmed stay are tracked in your host dashboard and paid out per the platform's payout schedule, with the commission clearly itemised.

Question 13

Can I set my own cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Flexible, Moderate or Strict for each listing — it drives how much guests are refunded when they cancel. You can change it any time from the listing editor.
